A weekly pop-up creative studio/picnic , that envisions a flexible and alternative system, for all creatives and aspiring creatives, to find community and opportunities by polishing their skills in a more local and organic way. Here, we will be practicing an entrepreneurial, ethical, inclusive, generational and strategic approach to art and creativity, all while taking a break from the day-day stress, creating fun memories, friendships and enjoying a more personalized journey to a better us, and success.
Attendees will be welcome to experience various creative dynamics to engage with, as a group or individually. We encourage everyone to participate in as many activities as possible so that they might get an all around inspiration from different perspective of art. Don't forget to bring your snacks and drinks.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT WEEKLYS
Every item here was either recycled or thrifted or is simply biodegradable.
Dress code: (not really but would be cool) =].
To encourage a visual aesthetic, attendees will be welcomed to wear what they consider to be their most expressive sense of fashion, that captures the message of a better world, whatever that means to you, like thrifted or alternated garments that get the message of saying no to fast fashion, for example. We draw lots of visual inspiration from cottagecore and solarpunk aesthetics for this, with a hint of futuristic/organic/designer ideas for this.
This not only provides an opportunity for us to materialize a place from our imagination to reality, but also a fun and mindful environment that reminds us of a cause worth wondering about.
THINGS TO PRACTICE.
Bring your ideas! Best ideas, hacks, tricks or techniques could be featured on our social media (if you'd like) and you're more than welcome to take any results you create here and use them as you like.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
First thing is first, let get you to realize your creative skills have value. There will be free slaptags/stickers (borrowing from the graffiti culture), for you to imagine a logo for your personal brand. It doesn't need to be fancy, or the final product, just whatever comes to you with in the first 5 mins of thinking about it. Think the nike swoosh or the apple from mac, very simple. Your goal would be to start thinking about what is the mission of your hypothetical brand, what's the message, what's the emotion related it, what's the idea, why you make it, and why should others care. Realizing your value is the only way others can realize it too.
Apart from that, please use this space to promote yourself, network, collab, share you socials, etc. We support all creatives of all levels and entrepreneurs that care about the world and even if you don't, we'd still like for you to get better at what you do, because you will, ultimately, care about the world. Creativity is always progressive.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO
The designed environment will provide photographers and videographers, plenty of models to shoot (given the consent), along with props, backgrounds for various results and different techniques to practice, keepin affordability and or eco friendly practices, like finding ways to avoid buying new equipment and contributing to the demand of plastic waste.
DANCE
For dancers we have music and a dance floor that’s padded, meaning is softer than regular floor which allows us to practice more safely. We also provide dynamics such as the floor having certain visuals and symbols for you to play with during a freestyle or a choreo making.
​FASHION DESIGN/MODELING
For fashion/modeling enthusiasts, we have an environment where we think of better approaches to fashion, rather than encouraging fast fashion. Every attendee is bringing their best interpretation of style with their outfits which brings various inspiration to derive from, for designing new garments as we’d have pencil and paper for attendees to draw designs. We also have thrifted garments for people to modify such as thrifted t-shirts with material to make stencils, left over paint or donated, to
create your own designs, scissors for cropping, etc.
PAINTING/CRAFTING
There will be recycled objects, paper, thrifted decor, paintings, books and other things for people to get creative and
design something for decor, instead of buying new things and contributing to consumerism
WRITERS
Attendees that like to write, from screen writing to poems or lyrics, will have a lot happening in the area to make dreaw inspiration and create a piece about whatever they are witnessing in the sessions, maybe what ppl talk about, their mannerisms, their ideas, their clothes, their art, their vision, etc and we post the best written works on our website and socials for others to see and give feedback.
A demand for solarpunk inspired works are on the rise...just saying.
MUSICIANS
We encourage any musicians to play their music for the session, whether that’s just an audio file or they want to do a quick jam with their instruments, singing while interacting with other attendees simulating a performance or improvising something. For example, it’s really fun and natural for a musician to jam out with some improve, while communicating with a dancer who’s is also improvising and seeing where the interaction takes you.
